AI meeting bot for Google Meet

Stay in the conversation while your AI meeting bot takes notes.

Start a bot session by submitting a Google Meet link, or connect Google Calendar and enable auto-attendance for eligible scheduled events. After the bot is admitted and captures audio, review the transcript, summary, decisions, and action items.

The bot joins as a participant, not a host; the meeting host may need to admit it.

How it works

How the AI meeting bot works

Choose a bot session or the Chrome extension. Once meeting audio is captured, transcription and structured note generation run automatically.

01

Start now or schedule

After signing in, submit an in-progress Google Meet link in Join by Bot. For scheduled events, connect Calendar and grant read-only access; auto-attendance applies to eligible confirmed events on your primary calendar with a Meet link that you organize or have not declined.

02

The bot requests to join

The notetaker joins as a participant, not as host. If Google Meet requires admission, the meeting host must admit it before capture begins.

03

Review transcript and AI notes

After meeting audio is captured and the session ends, review the transcript and AI-generated summary, key points, decisions, action items, and open questions in your workspace.

What you get

AI meeting summaries, decisions, and action items

Transcript with timestamps and speaker names

Transcripts include timestamps and speaker names when available. Captured audio and transcript segments are removed 48 hours after notes are successfully generated.

We should prioritize this feature for Q4.

Action items that leave the meeting

Action items from captured meetings are organized in one place, with owners and due dates when those details are identified.

Chrome extension · another way to capture

Start notes manually from Meet

When the extension is installed, open it in Google Meet and choose Start Notes to begin capture. This is separate from bot attendance: you can also start a bot with a meeting link or enable optional Calendar auto-attendance.

Choose how meeting capture starts

Start a bot session by submitting a Google Meet link, choose Start Notes in the extension, or opt in to Calendar auto-attendance for eligible events. Calendar access is read-only. The bot joins as a participant and may need to be admitted by the meeting host.

  • Extension capture starts when you select Start Notes

  • Calendar auto-attendance requires a connected Google account and your explicit opt-in

  • Audio and transcript segments are removed 48 hours after notes are successfully generated; generated notes remain
